Gameplay Programmer

We are looking for Gameplay Programmers (at all levels) to work as part of our development team making AAA games in Unreal Engine by implementing and improving designed game features.

 

You must be able to work closely with individuals in the other development disciplines to create game features and prototypes that lead to a rewarding player experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the design team to create, iterate and deliver gameplay mechanics.

  • Implement well-engineered, reliable, scalable and maintainable code across a wide variety of projects.

  • Follow best practices, development processes, documentation and coding standards.

  • Devise innovative solutions to overcome platform constraints.

  • Mentor less experienced people, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.

  • Assist in planning your work and the work of others.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong C++ programming skills.

  • A desire to solve problems.

 

Bonus

  • Prior console development experience.

  • Experience with developing open-world games.

  • Experience with networked multiplayer games.

  • Leveraging tools and systems within Unreal to deliver gameplay mechanics.

  • Adoption of efficient development methodologies (e.g. continuous integration, automated testing, tools pipelines, etc.).
